Avocado is not just something you can eat on toast, but something that gets you right and tight..

Summer is around the corner and you are googling how to get fit in 5 seconds, ammiright?  We’ve all had to scurry to get our spring break/summer vacation/probably gonna see my ex body in shape and realize it’s probably not going to happen as quickly as we’d like.  The silver lining in this madness is looking extra cute, which makes you feel better about working out.  As Elle Woods would say, “exercise gives you endorphins.  Endorphins make you happy!”  No literally, she just posted it to her IG and I love Reese for keeping it old school.

I personally have noticed that when I have legit workout gear on with an appropriate matching top and bottom, I physically feel better about taking on whatever workout is going to make me want to die.  It’s almost like tricking your mind that you’re about to have a good time because you’re dressed like you’re a fitness pro.  There is such thing as looking the part…

{the brand}

This leads me to the luxury workout brand Avocado.  The first time my fingers touched the fabrics, I was in love.  A fitness pal told me about the company, so I wanted to give them a shot.  I’m particular about what I workout in and have my select favorite brands because of the cut, how the fabric holds up over repeated use, how smelly the fibers can get (harsh truth), and even the colors. Not to mention chafing can be a little B.

Avocado, which is based in Venice, California, with a location here in Seoul, Korea, is seriously top shelf without crazy prices.

{the feel}

The fabric is pretty much butter.  I slipped on the leggings and it felt like a second skin. But like skin that had been drenched and slathered in La Mer.  All of the fabrics felt that way to include the sports bra and muscle tank my little care package contained.  The color had me ohh and ahhing too because it was a marble pink and I have a thing for both at the current moment.  Besides the color, the fit was perfect and accurate and held everything precisely as it should.  I loved that the pants were high waisted because it helps make your tummy feel flatter and who hates that?!  The particular items I had on would be perfect for yoga because it was extremely stretchable for all your downward dog, crow pose, and chaturanga’s your heart could contain.  But also, great for getting smoothies at your favorite instagrammable cafe if I’m being honest… and if you’re being honest with yourself.

Another point I want to highlight are the fabrics are seamless.  Almost like it was just one piece of fabric enveloping all my curves (which I have).  I recently went hiking in the muscle tank and loved that it fit my awkwardly long torso; the fact it worked on my freakish body and I could style it as necessary, i.e. tied to the side or let it hang loose was a double bonus because of the options.  So why not burn some calories and be majorly cute AF at the same time?  Get after it girls…
