Amos Professional – K beauty hair brand you need to be familiar with…

This may come as a shock to some of you, but to my close friends that know me… I wash my hair only once a week. I know… GASP!  Yes, I workout and sweat.. a lot, I style my hair most days and apply product.  What I’m basically saying is that I put my hair through a lot during the week so it needs a SOLID wash when I finally do get it wet.

I have color treated hair, so I need products that won’t cause build up or make my hair an unnatural shade of orange (ugh, please no orange hair).  The ingredients doesn’t include any parabens or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) which is what can cause build up and brassiness in color treated hair.

 

I’ve been using the True Repair 3 Step line for the last three weeks.

 

{Let me break it down}

 

Step 1:

The True Repair Shampoo includes coconut extract which smells AMAZING helping to make your hair smooth and incredibly soft.  It’s in the prettiest shade of pearly pink (obviously for aesthetics).  I used a good 3-4 pumps for my hair since it’s pretty long right now.

 

 

Step 2:

Follow up the shampoo with the conditioning True Repair Treatment CMC. The texture is a white thicker consistency that easily squeezes out of the tube so you get the right amount for your hair, no mess and no waste!  I’m the kind of person that refuses to throw anything away unless I know I’ve gotten every last drop out! This glides on the hair so nicely and you can tell immediately that it starts to really smooth out the hair where it feels like a waterfall is right in your shower on your hair.  Really into the at home spa experience these days because between social distancing and trying to be safe, this is the next best thing to an in-person spa!

 

 

 

Step 3:

The last step is the True Repair Essential Oil. Complete honesty here, I rarely use anything to protect my hair from heating tools like curling irons and my blow dryer.  BUT I wanted to give this oil a try to get the full experience.  I appropriately used the oil after I towel dried my hair, maybe 2-3 drops and really worked it through.  The fragrance of the oil matched similarly to the shampoo and conditioner giving it a nice touch at the end so anyone getting close to your locks would get a whiff of the sweet aroma.  After my hair was fully dry, I added a couple more drops to the ends of my hair where most of the damage is done from using heating tools (and to be real, I’m in dire need of a haircut, but haven’t been able to get one, so anything I can do at home to maintain that salon feeling, I’m willing to give a shot!  I can report that after a week, my hair wasn’t any oilier than it normally would be before my “hair wash day” – usually on Thursdays – just before the weekend.

I wanted to see if my results was going to be consistent and I’m super happy to let you know that my hair has been doing fantastic these past few weeks.  My hair is softer longer but still has great texture for styling, less tangles, smells great but not strong, and shiny.. like ohmygawd shiny!  My hair is genuinely healthier!
